GUYANA MISSION - A Smile Filled with Hope

Region 2. Pomeroon River, Guyana

At just 8 years old, Angelica radiates a joy that is far greater than her circumstances. Although she has been unable to walk or stand since early childhood, she continues to face each day with a beautiful smile and an unwavering desire to learn.

Because she cannot walk, her devoted grandmother lovingly carries her to school each day. Her daily sacrifice is a touching expression of unconditional love, ensuring that Angelica receives an education and the opportunity to dream of a brighter future.

Despite her physical limitations, Angelica is never left out. Her siblings and cousins lovingly find ways to include her in their games and daily activities. Whether sitting beside her to play, sharing toys, or adapting their games so she can participate, they remind us that true love looks beyond limitations and makes room for everyone.

Angelica's courage, together with her grandmother's steadfast devotion and the loving support of her family, reminds us that even in the midst of hardship, God's love is revealed through caring hands and compassionate hearts.

During the Medical and Dental Mission held in April 2026, one of the volunteer doctors was deeply moved by Angelica's story and graciously offered to provide her with stem cell treatment, bringing renewed hope to her and her family. We invite you to continue praying that God will guide every step of her medical journey, strengthen her grandmother, and bless everyone involved in her care according to His will.

May Angelica's story inspire us to be the hands and feet of Jesus, sharing Christ's love through kindness, compassion, and generosity. Her joyful smile is a beautiful reminder that hope and faith can shine even in life's greatest challenges.
