We are grateful that a hospital near the community has opened its doors for us to regularly visit and minister through songs, encouragement, and prayer. Through these visits, we have learned that healing is not only physical—people also need mental, emotional, and spiritual healing. As we go from ward to ward, we remind patients that even in sickness, they are seen, heard, loved, and never forgotten by God. We have seen patients moved to tears during our songs and prayers, while others have shared that it was their first time being serenaded in a hospital. These moments remind us that even a simple song, prayer, or loving presence can bring hope to a hurting heart. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3
