Transforming lives, together

Discover the heart of our mission, the story behind our calling, and the vision that drives us to serve communities worldwide.

Our Mission

Spread God’s love by serving communities in need, empowering individuals through faith, and creating opportunities to share His truth.

Our Vision

To expand God’s kingdom by equipping and placing missionaries in communities where faith and service can bring hope, restore lives, and inspire lasting change.

Our Promise

To share God’s love and create meaningful change in the lives of those we serve by faithfully reflecting Jesus in everything we do.

Our Story

From Humble Beginnings to Global Impact

Living for Jesus Ministries began in 2018 when Travis and Michelle Maloney answered God’s call to serve. After years of mission trips to places like Nicaragua, Guyana, and the Philippines, they partnered with Golden Lapani in Malawi—a former Muslim spreading the Gospel for over 30 years. This connection inspired the creation of a 501(c)(3) organization to expand their mission globally.

Today, Living for Jesus Ministries is dedicated to sharing God’s love through church planting, orphan care, education, healthcare, and mission trips. From building churches in Malawi to equipping missionaries in the Philippines, every effort reflects the power of faith in action.

We are excited for what God has in store as we continue bringing hope and healing to communities around the world. Join us on this incredible journey of faith and service!

Church Construction:

  • Since August 2018, LFJ has financially supported the construction of 63 church roofs, including 43 new church plants.
  • Two teams were sent to Malawi to teach locals how to procure supplies and build roofs.
  • The local community continues to build churches and roofs independently, with LFJ assisting in fundraising.
  • To date, Golden has baptized over 85,000 individuals committed to following Jesus.

  • Located in the Dedza District of Malawi, the orphanage officially opened in July 2022.
  • By September 30, 2022, the orphanage aimed to house 60-100 children.
  • Staff work diligently to ensure the children's well-being.
  • Additional construction and resources are needed to meet the children's needs.
  • A vehicle is urgently required for transporting supplies, medical appointments, and occasional field trips.
  • River Ministry:
    • The LFJ River Ministry in Guyana experiences daily blessings.
    • Missionaries Michael and Maria have been instrumental in demonstrating Jesus' love to communities along the Pameroon River.
    • Mission Initiatives:
      • The Philippine project commenced in September 2022.
      • LFJ board members, having collaborated with Edgar and Raylene Espinosa over six years, integrated them as local missionaries in Palawan, Philippines.
      • Their activities include community outreach, Bible studies, church planting, and child education.
      • Current fundraising efforts focus on building a home and purchasing a vehicle to support their outreach.
      • Presently, they rent a small house and rely on a motorcycle for transportation.

    • LFJ continually seeks opportunities to share God's love.
    • Individuals aware of needs are encouraged to submit forms to initiate new projects.
